Come to The Makery and learn all about the art of kokedama! Originating in Japan, kokedama in English means "moss ball". It is a ball of soil, covered with moss, in which an ornamental plant grows. The plant is suspended in the air with the use of string or wire. Similar to bonsai and popular in Japan, kokedamas bring greenery indoors in a lovely and whimsical way.
All materials to be provided include:
1) House plants (requiring medium light)
2) Special soil mixture for kokedama
3) Sphagnum moss
4) Jute Twine

COST: $45 per Kokedama plant
A minimum of 3 registrants will be required to run this class, otherwise it may be canceled. If you must cancel, please send an email notification to email@example.com or call 814-933-8724 at least ONE FULL WEEK prior to the class. A week's notice is necessary, as we use perishable items that are ordered in advance. Not showing up for a class forfeits any refund or exchange. If a class must be canceled due to inclement weather or an emergency, your class will be rescheduled or the fee will be fully refunded. No exceptions are made for this Cancellation Policy. This allows for making appropriate preparations and offer any available spot to other students when a class is full/sold out.
